Designed by scientists for scientists
Welcome to the next generation indoor photo bioreactor. The system is fully automated, with programmable computer control of lighting (including diurnal cycles), heating, agitation (via magnetic stir bar), and much more. Data is conveniently monitored in real-time, and can be exported to MS Excel. A wide range of options, including a true turbidistat pump, as well as expanded lighting capabilities, are also available. Dozens of systems can be independently driven from one computer and just one instance of the software. Optimize Strains vs. Conditions Simultaneously!
The Generation II is perfect for:
A true turbidistat for algal research
The Generation II PBR is available with an optional computer-controlled turbidistat pump for steady-state research applications. You set the desired optical density (O.D.), and the system automatically pumps out culture and pumps in fresh eluent.
Use the Turbidistat Pump to:
RGBW light for expanded research
The Full Spectrum Light closely resembles the true sunlight spectrum, providing a more accurate analysis of how algae will grow in an outdoor environment day after day.It is a fully software--integrated option for the Generation II PBR
The Full Spectrum Light can:
Enables automated sparging
The pH probe option integrates seamlessly into the Generation II software platform. You can program the pH you'd like to maintain, and let the system do the work for you.
Take your research even further
The optional Dissolved Oxygen Sensor helps measure algal oxygen consumption in your
Generation II system. It streamlines the configuration of in-situ oxygen monitoring system, and includes everything you need to start making accurate and high resolution oxygen measurements.
The optional Culture Vessel Stand
can hold up to 4 culture vessels at a time, and has two convenient carrying handles for ease-of-use and added stability. It may also used as a storage device for unused culture vessels.
The stand is made of polypropylene and can resist autoclave temperatures up to 121°C.
Everything you need for your Generation II
If it's broke, fix it! Or, just keep a supply of commonly-used items on hand.
